Arkan is a retired Galactic Guardian, and one of the original Galactic Guardians, along with Admiral DeGill, X-5's uncle B-1, Betty's tutor Spindly Tam, and her grandmother Beatrixo. DeGill saved Arkan in the battle of the Drakus. Years later, she repaid the favour by testifing against Boltar who had accused DeGill of lying about his heroic deeds in battle. (License DeGill)
